So to celebrate, I’ll cover two subjects for the price of one. 
The Nine Situation
Since yesterday, NWS9 Adelaide have been showing their digital TV watermark (a dotless 9) in the 4:3 safe area of the screen as opposed to the 16:9 margin (where it’s been placed for the last several years). I thought at first that someone was playing Silly Buggers with it, but as it’s still in the 4:3 area today, it looks like the change will be a permanent one.
I’m not sure as to why this sudden change has occurred, but my gut feelings tell me that on February 8th – when the 2009 Australian TV ratings period begins – more change will follow. For all I know, Nine in Adelaide and Perth could get the dots back, or be rebranded as WIN 9 or just plain WIN, but in any case, Bruce Gordon & Co. will have to make a decision soon.
Tonight (or tomorrow)
In the last two nights, I’ve been having those nutty exotic dancer dreams again, so I’m going to try and put them right out of my mind and focus on what I need to do at the Horse. I’m also hoping to break the jinx and catch Sienna at The Palace for the first time in weeks.
