That, dear readers, is what’s called a Disney Swipe™. 
Meanwhile, I have some great news to report. My little ploy to fix things with Ariel at the Horse worked brilliantly; the tasty little surprise (i.e. a box of Cadbury Roses chocolates) went down well, and the reason the dance was cut short last time was that my terrible frame of mind actually frightened Ariel. So I aim to never scare her, or any other dancer, again.
While I’m at it, I need to retract something I said earlier. It seems that some of the girls (especially the newer ones) are the ones behind the shorter dances at the Horse these days, and not the management after all. So if I was a complete newbie to the Horse (or the industry in general) and only received a 5-minute dance for $50, I’d really be thinking twice before paying the club any further visits.
At The Palace, though, I’m still having no luck finding Sienna. Though Ivy and Rose softened the blow and ensured that I had a great time anyhow, I’m still determined to break this little Sienna jinx, and if needs be, I’ll go to The Palace on a different day.
