All about work! ;-)

I’ll do this in three parts:

1. I was a little stunned to hear about the bombshell dropped by a certain John “Rove” McManus on his show the other night. Sure, I believe that his best days on the small screen are behind him, but I didn’t think he was going to quit in such circumstances either. And I’m now hearing that he could be looking to a radio career in addition to his production commitments with Roving Enterprises;

2. I was surprised to hear that Richie Benaud will be staying with the Nine Network for a few more years after all, and not retiring as first thought, though he will no longer serve as a play-by-play commentator on its cricket coverage unless absolutely necessary. Instead, he seems to have opted for a lighter workload, saving himself for special – and possibly marvellous (heh heh) – cricket-related features; and

3. As of this afternoon, my job interview drought is finally over. I have an interview scheduled at an Ear, Nose and Throat clinic in Wakefield Street in the Adelaide CBD today, and I’m going to try my very best to ace it, so wish me luck, viewers!
